This was a very Interesting story about a teen high school girl and a Elf that is HUGE OTAKU!
It was a VERY short story that made me smile. I am Otaku but I am not as huge of an otaku as Takamimi the Elf.
Takamimi the Elf lives with Miko in a shrine. Takamimi hides in the shrine playing video games, reading manga, watching anime, and playing with toys, as Miko tries to get Takamimi to come out of the shrine and have the elf share her power with others. Takamimi however, just wants to stay inside the shrine.
I can understand the feeling that Takamimi has not wanting get out & just stay inside my room because of my health troubles, and not having a lot of friends in the past, but things have changed in my life and I am not a homebody any more. I have close friends, and I have social workers that help me and are my friends as well.
Like Takamimi, I was made fun of by a lot people throughout my life. Just like Takamimi has Miko, I have friends that like the same things I like. They helped me to get out of my comfort zone and not just collect things. They helped me find other things that give me joy give me joy like interacting with people, and seeing and trying new things.
I am looking forward to see where this story goes and where Takamimi & Miko’s friendship leads them.
