I read these two graphic novels because I wanted to try them out. I was a fan of the old 80’s cartoon. I felt the cartoons were silly, funny, and kind. I feel these two book are full of the same things as when I watched the show so long ago.
I enjoyed the updated style of the old ponies and I like the new ponies that were added to the cast. Reading these two books helped me to smile and made me want to laugh some over the simplest things. I feel that these books are full of light and joy and are ok for anyone to enjoy.
I may or may not pick up other My Little Pony Books at some point. But I know that if I do read more of them I will be in for a fun time with the ponies and they will welcome me back into their world with open arms. They will take me on all their adventures again and want to see me smile and have fun with them.
