This book was a long read, and it was a very slow burn. This book misled me with the doll face on the cover, but I figured out that the doll face represented the girl in the story. This story was confusing in the beginning. I found that the book was trying to be a twisting mystery with teen troubles, but I felt it was very confusing. I was hoping that the book would get a little better as I read it. It got better when it showed Cass having a little fun at the prom with Peter, but the book just did not grab me. Despite this, I kept reading just to find out how it ended.
I know other people may enjoy this book, and I know the author put her heart into this book, but for me I am not sure if I will read any other books she has written at his this time.
