Call Of The Night - Review

This book drug on a bit. I understand that in the first book of a new series the writer needs to establish a timeline and a little bit about the characters’ background. I just felt that this book took a little too much time to get there and when all the pieces were in place, it still did not feel right.

In the book the main character, Yamori Ko was unsure what do with himself and wanted friends, but was not sure how to find one. He manages to meet a girl named Nazuna Nanakusa and becomes friends with her, before he finds out she is a vampire. But for most of the story after finding out Nazuna Nanakusa was a vampire, he just wanted her to turn him into one.

I feel this book is about how some people have a hard time finding people to be their friend, and when they do find someone that gives them some attention they want to hold on to that person and will do anything they have to do to keep them in their life.

I can speak from personal experience. I have spent most of my life alone and had a few people that were my friends but life took them out of out of my life. I do have a small circle of friends that I do trust now, and I treasure them deeply.
