I am now a renewed fan of Battle Angel Alita thanks to this book. This manga brought a new look to a classic manga. I am looking forward to see how this story goes and how it renews my interest in this manga, and maybe to watching the anime for the first time.
This is a well written and drawn manga. This manga will grab you with the dynamic art style and the story will not let you go until you finish reading it, and leave you wanting more. This manga shows the reader that humans and cyborgs can have feelings for each other. Alita starts to have feelings for people in her life and realizes she will do anything to protect them too. She is one KICK ASS Cyborg!
This book also shows how the world has gone to hell in a hand basket. Some things have definitely taken a turn for the worse, and humans have had to adapt to what is going on in the world. A lot of people have had to have parts of body parts upgraded to cyborg parts. I hope that our real world never get this bad.
I will say that this manga was one of the top manga that I have read for quite some time, and I am looking to picking up the next volume of this manga and see what happens in it. I found Alita to be a great cyborg and if she was real I would be happy to have her as a friend.
